"I honestly wish I could believe that things will end perfectly, with one big bright happy ending. But these last few days have taught me that life isn't made up of shiny moments. Life is hard; it's gritty. One day you are filled with joy and the next, you are crawling through the muddy trenches with no inkling of when you might be able to climb your way back up again." ~Willow Mosby, Exposing ELE

Can Willow expose Project ELE for what it really is?

Just when Willow Mosby thought that her life might return to normal, her parents and Tony are ruthlessly abducted, along with many other victims from the shelter. In an effort to save them, Willow has to take a stand against the darkness brought forth by the masterminds of Project ELE.

In the midst of all of the chaos, Willow is faced with some impossible choices. Is Willow strong enough to make these decisions? How can she decide between the man she first loved and the man who has sworn to protect her?

When certain events are set in motion, Willow finds herself caught in the center of an even darker, more diabolical scheme than she could have ever imagined. With her abilities rapidly growing, Willow finds herself more powerful than ever before. What she hadn't realized is that someone else has noticed her power, and they will stop at nothing to get it.

With more than 700 five-star ratings on Goodreads! The ELE Series is a now complete Young Adult Science Fiction Romance series that will appeal to fans of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, The Gender Game by Bella Forrest, Red Queen by Victory Aveyard, and A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. I hated Book 2 but I've never stopped reading a series. The storyline had potential and I'd hoped that the authors got it together and managed it.

Nope. I lasted a few chapters. The main character is not at all likeable. The story is better without her. She is 16 and maybe they are trying to emphasize her annoying aspects but it is Book 3. We should be building her at this point - reminding us that she is 16 on occasion not slapping us in the face with her immature and annoying traits. Her friends come off much better but they are not part of the story anymore. We have no one to balance the annoyance.

The rest of the storyline tries to hit you with emotional scenes without building the story so we become invested. They dont explain any of the stories and have a habit of telling you numbers like 50 people here, 4 here and apparently we arent supposed to put together that the pieces don't add up.

This story is basically living inside a very immature 16 year olds head. Nothing else.

1st series Im walking away from, goodbye Willow.

Exposing ELE The ELE Series Book 3 eBook Courtney Nuckels Rebecca Gober Reviews

Losing interest by book 3 and don't feel compelled to buy book 4 at this point. I loved the 1st 2 books. They were very unique and grabbed my interest. This one is too much of the story between boy & girl and not enough other interesting plots to move the story along.
Warning may contain spoilers.

I was really disappointed and let down by this book. I loved the first two books and the theme of the whole story was original and a real difference to other dystopian books. However as I started reading the third book, my heart sank. The whole story changed from one about powers and survival to a 16 year old leading a whole group and her love issues. Did I mention shes 16? I hate love triangles, I think they are so unfair to all 3 people involved and the reader as the reader will obviously gravitate to one guy or the other. I dont understand how one books theme can change so rapidly and move away from the main focus and towards trivial things. I have read all 4 books but safe to say I wont be reading the 5th and Ill be returning the 3rd and 4th for a refund.
Utterly let down in so many ways
A fairly decent sequel, but has some problems. Heroine is a sloppy character, she keeps falling apart from her emotions causing most of her problems because she lets things happen before stopping them. This story does work but again it is getting sloppy.
The series had great potential, but by this point I am annoyed by the fact that the author doesn't seem to have researched the things she has put in her books (like knife throwing). Also, I am disappointed that there is less "science" the more I read. Does the author even know the full story of what is going on?

The main character gets more whiny and self absorbed, if you were able to make it thus far, beware! Those that find her obnoxious won't survive to the end (like me).
Just like books 1 and 2, this (book 3) does not disappoint! There is always something going on. I love that theres not much down time so it keeps you on the edge of your seat and not wanting to put it down!
I am so hooked on the series that I have now completed the first 3 in 48 hours, even with my full time work schedule during the day. I'm exhausted from staying up all night reading last night, so I'm forcing myself to go to sleep without immediately starting the 4th book. I cannot wait to start the next book tomorrow!
I have read the whole series. The first and second book were good enough to get me to buy the third. I loved the story and would buy a fourth if it would go into more about Zack and the Red Eyes. My main complaint is the characters are not constant. All the characters shift loyalties - The love story from book one that would last forever ends...okay she is 17 I can give you that, but Candace becoming friends with the people she bullied? Zack totally going off the deep end? Not sure I buy into those twists so much. And Mr. Leroy voting a 17 year old as leader. I bought into the mom being the leader...not the teen. The teen leading a mission? Maybe. Not the whole tribe. It made me mad that she doubted that she could change the future. She did it several times, but wouldn't accept it. How much proof do you need in your own abilities especially as fantastic as they are. She also keeps too many secrets. She needs to communicate more if she wants me to believe she is a great leader of the people. I'm not buying into the 17 year old protector because I have so many superpowers plot. It makes me flip pages to get to the action. If she is going to be a leader it is time to quit whining and having self doubt and making emotional decisions.
